Rich care for dry and mature skin
Derived from Hippophae rhamnoides, this oil helps skin feel nourished, soft and supple. Use it in facial oils, creams, balms and body oils where a richer skin feel and a radiant-looking finish are desired.
Colour, aroma and texture
The existing product profile describes a deep golden to reddish-orange liquid with a mildly fruity aroma and earthy undertones. Its medium-weight, velvety texture adds richness to skincare and hair-care blends.
Blending and application
Blend with lighter carrier oils such as Jojoba, Rosehip, Argan or Pomegranate oil. It can also be incorporated into scalp and hair treatments for a conditioned feel and shine. For aromatic blends, Lavender, Frankincense and Geranium essential oils complement its profile when appropriately diluted.
Strong natural colour: Blend with lighter carrier oils to reduce the risk of temporary skin staining. Take care around light-coloured fabrics.
Use and storage
For external use only. Patch test before first use and discontinue if irritation occurs. Dilute essential oils appropriately before skin application. Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place. The existing product information lists a shelf life of 12–18 months; follow the batch label where supplied.
