What Shipping options do I have?

On the checkout page, after you have signed in or completed the address fields, you will receive the following options to choose from for shipping:

Standard Shipping – $11 (3-10 Days Delivery Time)

Free Shipping – For orders over $100 (3-10 Day Delivery Time)

Express Shipping – $20 (1–4 Days Delivery Time)

We currently ship all goods using Australia Post and their network of couriers.

Shipping Rates may be subject to change during Sales.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We try to get as many orders as possible out the same day the order is placed. If for any reason we cannot ship your order within 2 business days of it being placed, we will contact you to let you know. After it has left us, it is in the hands of Australia Post. We can provide limited tracking information on request.

What if I need my order urgently?

If for any reason you need your order in a hurry, please give us a call after you have placed the order and let us know. We will do our best to meet the request.

Can I pick my order up?

Sorry, we do not offer a pick up option at this stage.

How is my credit card handled?

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). When Credit Card details are collected, we simply pass them on in order to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete Credit Card details. As an example, if you select the “Credit Card” option on the checkout page, you will be able to enter your credit card details directly through our website. When you submit this information the details are sent and processed by Shopify and PayPal.

Australian Oils of Nature uses the Shopify payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. We conducted a lot of research when building this website and found Shopify and PayPal to be the most trusted and most secure form of collecting online payments.

How to get a refund?

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please contact us, so that we can resolve any issue you may have, and possibly organise a 7 day money-back guarantee from the time the products are delivered. This refund policy does not apply to change of mind, products which have been used, opened, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product. If there is a change of mind or other reason cancellation/Refund request, a 20% restocking fee may be applied. We have a highly skilled operations team who process orders as they come in, a cancellation/refund places a possible inconvenience to other customers. We pride ourselves on customer service and will consider on an individual basis.

All products must be returned in their original condition and sealed. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by you. We recommend that you return the product via registered prepaid post. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damage to the goods during transit; therefore, we recommend you opt for shipment registration or insurance with your postal carrier. AON will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit.

Do you offer other or larger sizes?

Absolutely! If you are after a size that isn’t offered, please contact us to arrange it. We can provide as much or as little as you like.

Can you ingest these essential oils?

Our oils are all 100% pure and untouched, however, the jury is still out on whether essential oils can be safely ingested. As a general rule (and certainly our recommendation) is that no essential oils should be ingested without advice from a medical / clinical professional.

Essential oils are profoundly powerful, which makes them capable of both great good and great harm. One of the main concerns is the effect it can have on our natural gut flora which may have other impacts on our health, in some cases worse than what we were trying to fix in the first place. Studies are continuing as more people take an interest in natural alternatives, but there is not enough information available yet to support the endorsement of internal use. Certainly not trying to scare you off ingesting them, it’s just that we can’t legally or responsibly promote it with the limited evidence available at the moment. There are lots of people using them this way, some with amazing results, but there is also very limited evidence about side effects or long term usage risks. So to summarise…. Our official recommendation is that no essential oils should be ingested without proper medical consultation.

Use your own best judgement and if you do decide to use the products in this way, my advice would be to try a small amount first…. they are very potent in pure form.

Are the oils therapeutic grade?

There is no such thing as ‘therapeutic grade’ in measuring essential oil quality or purity. It is used by some of the big marketing companies as a sales pitch, but there is no standard by which they are measured.

All our oils are 100% pure and natural, nothing added or taken away…. just as nature intended.
